The coffee here is so good at an excellent price, and the food is very tasty and affordable too. The girls provide amazing service - they are always so nice, and they remember my name and order. I always leave here feeling very happy.
Great coffee and well priced meals. All the girls at the counter are always so lovely and kind. Love at Christmas and Easter time they give you a free cookie and chocolate egg with your drink. This has been my go to café the last two years.
The food options are broad. Got the Mushroom & Spinach Benedict with a coffee for $15. Didn't skip on the mushrooms. Highly rate
Absolutely gutted I'm moving buildings and won't be able to go to my favourite coffee shop anymore. Always excellent service, great coffee and prices unheard of in the CBD ($4.50 for a quality med coffee? Yes please). Coming here for my coffee and breakfast has sometimes been the reason I've come into the city instead of wfh. Big thanks to the Bar Metzo crew for the years of fuelling my early mornings
Limited menu but nicely decorated and quite delicious. I got this thing that nobody knew what it was called eventually calling it a "ham bun scrambly thing". It was $5.50 - the bun was perfectly toasted, eggs perfectly scrambled and even though I hate BBQ sauce, I didn't quite mind the bit they put on mine although wishes they asked first. Counter staff was not very responsive at all but warmed up and started smiling. The lady who brought out the bun from the kitchen was also warm and smiley.
I hadn't been here for years, and on Friday I stopped to try coffee. Everything but the décor has change, and I love it. It is my new favourite place for breakfast. The food is delicious, the coffee is great. It is a small, wonderful friendly staff, and the food is fabulous!
Go to coffee spot. Fast service and good coffee. Food is also good price and fast.
Dragged here by a couple of colleagues for a takeaway Friday lunch with them spruiking the food and prices. Menu seems to be brekkie focussed and apparently is packed then but lunch is empty surprisingly... Smaller numbering of offerings for lunch but specials of meal deals ranging from $13.90-$16.90 are unheard of in the CBD. Went for the Special Burger with chips and a can for $13.90 sans tomato and was well impressed. Bun, roquette, beef patty, cheese, egg and bbq sauce... All freshly cooked and service with a smile. Happy to return for sure.
